UK Building Certification

 

We undertake regular IAQ investigations into the building air and supply systems. Companies that subscribe receive a display plaque confirming their legal compliance and interest in a healthy and safe environment for occupants.

This plaque can only be displayed by subscribers to our IAQ audit contract requirements.

The regular contracted monitoring of the IAQ Indoor Air Quality identifies the following:

  • Dust and particulate matter to assess building filtration.
  • Temperature Humidity to confirm suitable levels of comfort.
  • Specific humidity to assess moisture ingress and mould potential.
  • Non Viable (Total fragments)air sampling for “Toxic mould”.
  • Environmental gases VOCs Volatile Organic Chemicals.
  • Levels of Oxygen and carbon dioxide.
  • Hygiene and sanitation of AHU Air Handling Units.

    A full report and certificate is provided with details of any specific concerns and recommendations and may be made available for visitor inspection.

    Independent IAQ investigation certification

    We provide forensic investigation into air quality issues which include:
  • Odour problems.
  • Smoke and soots.
  • Allergies and asthma issues.
  • Environmental gas issues VOCs Volatile Organic Chemicals.
  • MVOCs Microbial VOCs Bacteria Hygiene issues.
  • Dust and particulate size quantity.
  • Toxic and allergenic mould viable & non viable (culturable).
  • Laminar air flow tracement (SF6 trace gas).

    From the complaint or issues of concern we develop a sampling hypothesis and relevant sampling protocols. Lab results or findings are compiled in a straightforward readable report and certification of undertaking.
